Some may say that the road of studying mathematics is doomed to be solitude. But for 2021 Hang Lung Mathematics Awards (HLMA) Silver Award winner On Ki Luo, brainstorming mathematics with like-minded fellows is also a crucial interaction on the road of research. She believes mathematics plays a significant role not only in STEM learning, but also as a fundamental part of any scientific research, and even daily life. What brought her great satisfaction is when she made a small step forward to an unknown problem, and she may be the first one in the world to think of that problem. This video will show how she turns the road of solitude in mathematics research, to a boulevard of questing knowledge.
