When Curious Minds Meet Ancient Egypt

A journey through 5,000 years of history brought HLMA alumni and their families together at Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums at the Hong Kong Palace Museum.

The tour provided our alumni and their families with opportunities to explore history, culture and the arts, fostering a broader appreciation of different disciplines and perspectives. Through more than 250 extraordinary artefacts, participants discovered the rich culture, artistry and legacy of ancient Egypt while gaining fresh perspectives beyond their own fields of study.

The day concluded with a lunch gathering, where winners across generations reconnected and shared their journeys. From future university students to alumni making their mark in public service, education and a wide range of professions, the occasion celebrated the lasting bonds and vibrant spirit of the HLMA community.
